In short: I collect only what I need to answer you, book calls and run the work we agree on. I don't sell your data. You can ask to see it, fix it or delete it at any time by writing to ronald@ronaldgoovaerts.com.
1. Who's responsible for your data.
The controller is Magnetic Whisper Unipessoal Lda, Praceta Gomes Leal 35, 2645-292 Alcabideche, Portugal, NIPC 518167119, which operates Ronald Goovaerts Cross-Border Industrial Partnerships and Ronald Goovaerts Sales Engineering Academy. Privacy contact: ronald@ronaldgoovaerts.com. We haven't appointed a Data Protection Officer, because the law doesn't require one for our size and type of processing.
2. What we collect.
- Identity and contact: name, email, phone, company, role, country, entered by you in forms and booking pages.
- Project and work details: what you tell us about your project, your deals, your team or your situation, in forms, on calls and in sessions.
- Session recordings: Academy mentoring sessions are recorded only with your consent, so you can keep them.
- Billing: invoicing name, company, address and VAT number, if you buy a program.
- Technical and usage: device, browser, pages visited and, if you consent, analytics and LinkedIn advertising cookies (see the Cookie Policy).
- Marketing preferences: whether you've opted in to field notes by email.
3. Why we use it, and on what legal basis.

4. Where it comes from.
From you, through forms, bookings, email, calls and sessions. If an employer books a program for you, from your employer.
5. Who we share it with.
Only with the service providers who help run the business, under data processing agreements:
- Go High Level (CRM, forms, booking calendars, email), [YOUR_GHL_DATA_REGION]

- Google (Google Analytics 4, only with your consent; Google Workspace email)
- LinkedIn (Insight Tag, only with your consent)
- Fireflies.ai (meeting transcription, only for sessions you've agreed to record)

We don't sell personal data, and we don't share it with anyone for their own marketing.
6. Transfers outside the EU.
Some providers are based in the United States. Where data leaves the EU, it's protected by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, or by Standard Contractual Clauses. Details on request.
7. How long we keep it.
- Enquiries that don't become work: 24 months after the last contact.
- Client and mentee records: for the length of the work plus 24 months.
- Invoices and accounting records: 10 years, as Portuguese tax law requires.
- Session recordings: until you ask us to delete them, or 24 months after the program ends, whichever comes first.
- Email opt-in: until you unsubscribe.
8. Your rights.
You can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or move your data, object to processing based on legitimate interest, and withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing. Write to ronald@ronaldgoovaerts.com. We reply within one month. You can also complain to the CNPD, Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (www.cnpd.pt).
9. Automated decisions.
None. Every decision about working together is made by a person.
10. Cookies.
See the Cookie Policy at /cookies. You can change your choice at any time through "Cookie preferences" in the footer.
11. Email.
Field notes by email go only to people who've ticked the box. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
12. Children.
This site and its services are for adults in professional roles. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
13. Changes.
If this policy changes, the new version goes here with a new date. If the change matters to people we already work with, we'll tell them by email.
